Felix Kongyuy

Felix has been a community organizer and activist since he moved to Surrey in 2010. Felix is the founder of Baobab Inclusive Empowerment Society and a founding member of the Global Peace Alliance Surrey Society. Over the years Felix has been advocating for Youth, New Canadians and the Arts. Felix owns and operates a small business in Surrey that specializes in respite care.

Felix has a proven track record of fighting for the voiceless and is Proudly Surrey “Surrey has provided my family a home and I want to give back in the best way I know how. I have been working at the grassroots level for years and the time is right to put my name forward for City Council” said Kongyuy “Over the years I have worked with young people and I want to make sure they have a chance to live in a Surrey that will offer them the best chance of success” continued Kongyuy “The people of Proudly Surrey are the only civic group that truly gives voice to all our young people, be it in sports or in affordable housing.”
